Monsieur Bond, who recorded a double on Saturday, saw another of his offspring in the winner’s enclosure this evening at Windsor when Dangerous Ends scored for trained Brett Johnson. Bred just outside York by RS Cockerill Farms, Dangerous Ends was winning for the fifth time in his career.
Last night saw the arrival of the last foal from Mick Easterby’s broodmares! The thirteenth foal from the legendary Yorkshire trainer’s base arrived in the shape of a filly by Eagle Top out of Poetic Verse. The work doesn’t finish there though as we still have several of Mick Easterby’s mares and foals at the Stud and we also will be working with the mares as they are covered again.
This is the stunning foal who was born to Susan Mason’s Poppy Day, sired by Casamento.
A wonderful sight, after all the rain and the wet the mares and foals are out in the paddocks!
Listed winner Aetna, formerly trained by Michael Easterby, delivered a beautiful colt foal this morning. He is by Iffraaj and has a yearling full sister, also delivered at Norton Grove last year.
