Crosse Fire, a son of Norton Grove’s Monsieur Bond and out of Norton Grove mare Watersilk, was runner up at Southwell this afternoon. Crosse Fire’s half brother, Love Rat, foaled at Norton Grove and owned by Jilly Cooper, also finished second today at Southwell.

A good start to 2019 for Monsieur Bond
Bond Angel was a winner at Southwell to start the year well for Norton Grove stallion Monsieur Bond. The four year old filly was winning for the second time in the space of ten days.
Fabulous three Norton Grove winners at Southwell today
Milk It Mick sired Champagne Monday was a two year old winner at Southwell today. Trained by Scott Dixon he was losing his maiden tag ridden by Nicola Currie. Champagne Monday was bred by Yvette Dixon, mother of trainer Scott Dixon and owner of Milk it Mick. He was foaled by us here at Norton Grove. Michael Appleby’s Classic Pursuit also won for the eleventh time in his career this afternoon. The son of Pastoral Pursuits has now earned over £60,000 in prizemoney. Pastoral Pursuits sired Casterbridge finished third. A third Norton Grove winner came in the shape of Love Rat, who was foaled at Norton Grove and owned by Jilly Cooper. Love Rat is from the same family of winning horses Crosse Fire, Misu Moneypenny and Soie D’leau is grandson to their dam.
Airwaves scores for Bond
Airwaves, foaled at Norton Grove Stud in 2016, was a winner for Monsieur Bond this afternoon at Wolverhampton. Making it two from two, the full sister of Ladies Are Forever and Hoof It looks a filly on a sharp upward curve.
Bond Angel a winner for Monsieur Bond
Trained by David Evans, Bond Angel was a Southwell winner this afternoon for Norton Grove’s Monsieur Bond. The grey filly was winning for the second time in her career. She was chased home by Diamond Pursuit, a daughter of fellow Norton Grove stallion Pastoral Pursuits.
Airwaves wins for Monsieur Bond
Airwaves, a full sister to Hoof It, Ladies Are Forever, Ladies First and Forever’s Girl, won on her debut at Kempton today. Running in the colours of Reg Bond she continues the wonderful line of her late dam, Forever Bond. Airwaves was foaled here at Norton Grove Stud.
Klopp wins for Bond
Klopp, trained by Antony Brittain and ridden by Cam Hardie, was a two year old winner for Monsieur Bond this evening at Newcastle. On a successful evening the same partnership were also responsible for Nutopia who finished runner up, another by Monsieur Bond, in the seven furlong handicap.
