MONSIEUR BOND, who has just completed his fifth season at Whitsbury Manor Stud, will stand at Norton Grove Stud in North Yorkshire next season as the property of Bond Thoroughbred Corporation/CSB Breeding (Charlie Bond).
A fee for the son of Danehill Dancer, who stood the past season for £3,000, will be determined at a later date.
Monsieur Bond retired to Whitsbury Manor Stud in 2005 as the winner of six of 23 starts for owner Reg Bond, including the Duke of York Stakes and Gladness Stakes. So far his first two crops of racing age have produced 15 individual winners in Britain and Ireland.
The owners are in negotiation for five homebred two-year-olds by Monsieur Bond to be sponsored in 2010 by a company based in the Far East.
