Soie D’Leau, a son of Monsieur Bond who was bred by Maggie Lingwood of Norton Grove Stud won on his seasonal debut at Thirsk. Recording his eighth career victory he was making his debut for trainer John Quinn. There will be celebrations at Norton Grove this evening as the popular sprinter is co-owned by Tim Pople, Jessica Lingwood and Frank Harrison who is a former employee at the Stud.
