Perfect Pasture completed a double today following up his Doncaster victory. The son of new Norton Grove stallion pastoral Pursuits was chased home in fourth by the legendary son of Monsieur Bond, Hoof It!
Casterbridge, trained by Eric Alston, was a winner on Newcastle’s Tapeta track. The son of Pastoral Pursuits won over five furlongs, with third place being taken by First Bombardment, also by Pastoral Pursuits. The card also saw Monsieur Bond’s daughter Bond Bombshell finish second.
Perfect Pasture was a winner for Mick Easterby at Doncaster this afternoon. Sired by Norton Grove stallion Pastoral Pursuits, Perfect Pasture was foaled at the Stud, out of mare Word Perfect. Old favourite Hoof It (below), by Monsieur Bond and also foaled at Norton Grove, finished fourth running a fantastic race. Congratulations to everyone. It was a 1-2 for Pastoral Pursuits as Flying Pursuit chased home Perfect Pasture to finish second.
Pastoral Pursuits’ offspring recorded another win today as Flowing Clarets was first past the post at Windsor. John Bridger’s filly was winning for the fifth time in her career. Congratulations everyone.

A double today for Norton Grove Stud’s new stallion Pastoral Pursuits. Apricot Sky was a winner for Michael Dods at Catterick, whilst this evening Hot Mustard was a winner over an extended nine furlongs at Wolverhampton for William Muir and jockey David Egan. Congratulations to connections of both winners.
Major Crispies was a winner on the Tapeta this evening at Newcastle, as David O’Meara’s Pastoral Pursuits gelding won the ‘Trick Or Treat Handicap’ over six furlongs.
East Street Revue was a winner for Pastoral Pursuits at York this afternoon. Tim Easterby’s four year old picked up the £12,000 first prize in the Parsonage Hotel and Cloisters Spa Handicap over five furlongs to record his fourth career victory.
Pastoral Music made it a double on the day when winning at Kempton this evening for trainer Hughie Morrison, the mile and a half trip showing the stallion’s versatility.
Our Oystercatcher, a three year old son of Pastoral Pursuits, was a debut winner at Windsor this afternoon for trainer Henry Candy. Later in the day Bounty Pursuit was also a winner for Pastoral Pursuits at Kempton, notching up his third career win for trainer Michael Blake.
