Firewater and Billy Bond in Monsieur Bond double
A son of Monsieur Bond, the Richard Fahey trained Firewater was a winner today. The two year old colt is out of the Norton Grove based mare Spirit Na Heireann (pictured) and he was first past the post at Ayr over a mile. Firewater runs in the colours of his breeder, Mrs Helen Steel.
Also on the Ayr card another son of Monsieur Bond, Billy Bond, was a winner also for Richard Fahey. Billy Bond was bred by Mr and Mrs Ashton. In the places this afternoon, Brian Ellison’s Monsieur Jimmy was a runner up in the seven furlong handicap.
The Norton Grove Stud foaled Maggie’s Passion, trained by Tony Coyle, finished fourth in the first race on the card.
Rene Mathis wins for Bond and Yes You wins again for Mexican Milly
Rene Mathis was a winner for Monsieur Bond at Wolverhampton this evening. Richard Fahey’s eight year old won the sportnation.net Claiming Stakes for owner Marwan Koukash.
The remarkable Yes You (pictured) defied another rise in the weights by winning again at Thirsk this afternoon. The daughter of Norton Grove based Mexican Milly was winning for the seventh time in her career.
Norton Grove foaled Our Little Pony was also a winner today at Thirsk. The daughter of Cracking Lass won the closing five furlong handicap.
Monsieur Bonds first and second at Carlisle while Pavers Pride wins at Musselburgh
Brian Ellison’s Monsieur Jimmy was a winner this afternoon at Carlisle. The son of Monsieur Bond won for amateur rider Becky Smith and owner Zoe Hatcher. Billy Bond, also by Monsieur Bond, was second.
At Musselburgh is was Pavers Pride (pictured), a daughter of Norton Grove Stud based Pride of Kinloch, who was also a winner.
